BUKIT LARUT @ MAXWELL HILL , Taiping .

Dah ronda2 Tepen Lake Garden..tak sah kalau tak manjat Bukit Larut ;-).

Ketinggian 1036 aras laut . Bukit Larut, yang sebelum ini dikenali sebagai Bukit Maxwell, adalah kawasan rehat pergunungan yang tertua, terkecil dan tidak terusik di Semenanjung Malaysia.

Ia diterokai pada 1884 oleh William Edward Maxwell, Pembantu Residen British di Perak.

Nak naik tak?  Well .. the road up to maxwell hill i tell ya' is very very steep.. its ya' choice of walking up, working up a good sweat.. heheheh  or take the only other way, that is to take the jeep run by local authorities.. this is the quick and easy way which we opted for.. they charge rm6 per person for a return ticket..  ( i suppose last 2 years it wuz RM4.00 mehh!!)  .. the drive up takes about 30 mins and it's a roller coaster ride!! YIHAAAA...It wuz' really2 FUN!!!

It is a lot of fun going up Maxwell Hill by jeep.

The road is tarred and well maintained. The ride is smooth, the driver experienced. There are sharp uphill hair pin turns.

If you are prone to car sickness, grab the seat in front with the driver. YIhaaa!!
